Ben Gal Avner (b. 1966, Israel) Lives and works in Berlin and Tel Aviv. Holds a BFA from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. Participated in many group exhibitions and held several solo exhibitions in Israel and abroad including at The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Sadie Coles HQ Gallery, London, and The Kunstmuseum Basel, Switzerland. Recipient of several important awards including the 1996 Kollner Award for Excellent Young Artists, The Israel Museum, Jerusalem and the 2008 Rappaport Prize for an Established Israeli Painter, Tel Aviv Museum of Art. His artwork can be found in important collections in Israel and abroad.
