Baruch Ilan (b. 1974, Israel) Lives and works near Modi’in. Graduate of the School of Painting and Sculpture founded by Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, where he studied with the artist Liliane Klapisch. Holds a BA in Philosophy from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Held solo exhibitions at the Museum of Israeli Art, Ramat Gan and at Helena Rubinstein Pavilion, Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Participated in several group exhibitions. In recent years, Baruch’s main preoccupation has been with the Sabra plants, the landscapes of Jerusalem and Modi’in and the interaction between their different populations.
