Amitay Sadovsky Ella (b. 1964 Israel) Lives in Mesilat Zion and works in Tel Aviv. Studied at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco. Holds a BFA and MFA from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. Graduate of “Hamidrasha” School of Art, Beit Berl. Held solo exhibitions at Gordon Gallery, Tel Aviv and at The Open Museum, Tefen. Winner of the Ann and Ari Rosenblatt Prize for Visual Art in 2016 and The Golden Foundation Fellowship, NY, USA in 2016. In addition of being an artist, Amitay Sadovsky holds a Ph.D. from The Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the University of California, Berkeley, USA.
