Ferguson Max (b. 1959, New York) Lives and works in Jerusalem. Graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam and of The New York University. Held solo exhibitions at the Hebrew Union College Museum, New York and at Gallery Henoch, New York. Participated in several group exhibitions including at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem and at ACA Galleries, New York. His paintings’ subjects and aesthetics resemble the American painter Edward Hopper, while his technique and compositions echo the Dutch master Jan Vermeer. His work can be found in private collections around the world.
