Tagger Siona (1900 – 1988 b. Israel) painter, born 1900, Jaffa, Israel. 1948 Represented Israel at Venice Biennale. Daughter of founders of Tel Aviv. First Israeli-born woman artist. A founder of the Association of Painters and Sculptors.1995 A street in Jaffa was named after her. From 1957 lived in Safed. Died 1988.
